Kazbegi Trekking Tour
Day 1: Airport - Tbilisi
Departure to Tbilisi
Day 2: City Tour
Tbilisi city sitghseeing program – walking in old town and historical centre. While walking you will explore in one of the first districts of our capital and enjoy colourful houses, wooden balconies and wonderful samples of architecture. You will start tour from Metekhi church (12-13 century), from where opens magnificient view to old Tbilisi. Later walk towards Tamada statue and historical caravansaray. Visit Sioni cathedral (6-7 century), Peace Bridge and Clock tower.
Mother of Georgia and will have panorama view on whole city. Later walk downhill to Narikala fortress (4 century) and will end our tour in Sulphur bath district which is connected to the legend of Tbilisi.
Day 3: Tbilisi – Mtskheta – Stepantsminda
Drive to ancient capital and religious centre and visit historical UNESCO sites, Svetitskhoveli cathedral and Jvari monastery. Continue to military highway and on the way visit Ananuri architectural complex of 17 century. Drive through ski resort Gudauri and highest point of the road Jvari pass 2395m. Arrive in Stepantsminda. Visit Gveleti waterfalls near Georgia-Russia border.

Day 4: Stepantsminda - Sabertse pass – Stepantsminda
We will walk up through small village and forest towards Gergeti trinity church 1.5h located at 2200m. If weather permits we can witness one of the highest mountain Kazbegi 5054m. Later continue walk to Sabertse pass (2900m) leading to glacier. Afternoon walk back to Spetantsminda. Dinner and overnight in hotel.

Day 5: Stepantsminda – Juta – Stepanstminda
In the morning we drive to through Sno valley and arrive village Juta 2150m. This small village is popular destination among travelers and locals due to beautiful scenery, high mountains, lake and glacier. From Juta we start walk towards mountain Chaukhebi. First uphill walk for short time and then nearly flat till the lake. Possibility to walk little bit up in the nature and same way back. Drive back to Stepantsminda. Dinner and overnight in hotel.

Day 6: Stepantsminda – Truso gorge – Stepantsminda
We drive main road to village Kobi from where start walk to Truso valley. We walk through remote settlement, which is almost abandoned and only inhabited in summer by shepherds. Truso gorge amazes visitors all year around. After walk drive back to Stepantsminda. Overnight and dinner in hotel.
Distance 15km. 300m, 6-7h
Day 7: Kazbegi – Khada gorge – Tbilisi
Walk through beautiful fields rich with defensive towers. Walk on the slopes of Great Caucasus mountains and enjoy breathtaking views. After nice walk come village Kvesheti, where we take bus to Tbilisi. Dinner in the restaurant. Overnight in hotel.
